There have been many instances when Jackie has gone above and beyond while caring for patients. For example, on her day off, she accompanied a patient who lost his daughters in a car accident to their funeral because he couldn’t leave the hospital without supervision.

Another example of her extraordinary service and compassion occurred more recently – she was part of a team that organized a family meeting for our patient. The patient suffered a TBI and multiple injuries in a car accident that also killed her son. Jackie made sure that the rest of the patient’s children were able to spend time with her outside in the sun. She also planned a care plan meeting to get everyone involved and took the needs of the whole family, in addition to the patient's, into account.

Jackie provides excellent care to every patient, and she addresses their emotional and spiritual health, which always leads to better outcomes. She truly is amazing, and I am so honored to work with such a kind and intelligent nurse.
