Elizabeth is a wonderful asset to the Flex Care team. Her knowledge of working in Med-Surg has helped a lot. I have been coming to Flex Care twice a week for six months. I have a central line and the caps on the PICC line are changed frequently. At times, the caps have been difficult to detach to change. Thankfully, Elizabeth had a trick; she would use tape to grip the line better without causing twisting and possible damage to it. This trick has been shared with the rest of the wonderful RNs who have experienced my PICC line caps not detaching and releasing with ease. I truly appreciate this knowledge because keeping my central in working order without risk of infection is my biggest concern. Flex care staff has made sure to keep me healthy and safe.
