Since CBMC's mission is "committed to providing the highest quality of care for our patients and their families," I nominate Erin Rawson, RN, for fulfilling that goal.

Erin started in the Cath Lab two and a half years ago without any prior Cath Lab experience. With an ICU background, she was eager to learn the Cath Lab skill set. She quickly learned the basics and specifics of the procedures and the role of circulating and medication nurse. Her progression in learning the various cases immediately moved onto scrub nurse. She can be put in any situation and thrive with ease and confidence. Erin is skilled and professional and has proved herself to be extraordinary in all aspects of the Cath Lab. She has set the bar to a high standard. An overachiever and consummate nurse, Erin excels at every level. She gives special attention to every patient and family member. Her calming voice and sweet demeanor have proven to have a positive outcome in comforting the most anxious patients.

It is obvious, whether you are a staff member or a patient that she loves what she is doing. Erin puts her heart and soul into her work. So very proud of Erin and all her accomplishments.
