Ms. Jirawan Soha takes care of patients to the best of her ability. She applies her knowledge, both science and art, and skills in caring for patients holistically, including physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. She has exceptional communication skills and a great sense of humor. She takes her time to talk intently with patients and families. She usually receives compliments from her patients and their families. Patients like to talk to her because she makes them laugh, feel safe, and reduces their anxiety. She helps to manage patients so that they receive treatment quickly and efficiently.

In addition, she takes the role of Academic Ward Nurse for the outpatient chemotherapy department, where she works to share knowledge about the latest knowledge on new chemotherapy regimens and nursing management in chemotherapy administration. This includes the development of mediation administration barcodes and drug libraries in infusion pump devices to reduce the risk of medication administration errors. She also helps her department head manage the workforce and looks for any risks to prevent or mitigate them when they occur. She sacrifices her personal time to help the team without being asked. She gained trust from doctors and other interdisciplinary team.

She achieved outstanding achievement in promoting a culture of patient safety in the organization by winning the patient safety inspirational video clip “Zero harm” at the 2023 BHQ Safety Festival.
