Naomi excelled throughout the nursing curriculum, receiving several clinical excellence nominations along the way.  Naomi was a constant source of compassion and encouragement to her assigned patients and to her classmates.  During her senior practicum she was placed in a pediatric nursing unit where she continued to display exemplary care and dedication to her calling.  The following is what her preceptor had to say regarding Naomi's nursing strengths and her compassion:

"Naomi was such a joy to have with us in PICU and Peds, and we all loved working with her.  Naomi's nursing and critical thinking skills were excellent, and she was always eager to learn and help out.  Naomi always went above and beyond with her patients and their family.  She would take the time to play games with patients, talk to them, and rock a crying baby, just to name a few.  Naomi has such a sweet and kind personality and will make an amazing Pediatric Nurse."
