I have three young children that I take to this local medical practice. Kaylee is the nurse who works with our pediatrician. Besides always being an awesome nurse and taking such great care of our family, she recently stepped in and helped our family with a very personal need. My husband recently passed away in April. We had a service for him at the Veterans' Cemetery, where we were presented with a flag for his service and dedication. After our service my 4-year-old son came home and rolled himself up in this flag and fell asleep. I happened to take my daughter to the pediatrician for an illness visit and mentioned to Kaylee what happened and that I had no idea how to re-fold the flag to preserve it. Kaylee offered to take the flag home and have her husband, who is also a veteran, fold the flag for our family. I can't tell you what this meant to me as a wife and a mom who was struggling with the loss of her husband and managing three young children. Her act of kindness meant so much to my family and shows how extraordinary of a nurse Kaylee is.
