As a nurse myself, I envy the amazing work Molly did and am inspired to be a better nurse because of her.
We wanted to thank and recognize the amazing care we received from our Labor and Delivery nurse, Molly. The thought of labor as a first-time mom is something that causes fear and stress as your due date approaches. We feel so lucky to have had in our minds the absolute best labor experience we could have asked for and it was because of our nurse Molly. From the beginning of her shift to the end (when the baby was born) she made us feel informed, secure, helped us stay positive, and truly made it feel like we were all on the same team with the goal of meeting our little boy at the end. She was informative about all the phases of labor, made sure my pain was managed, made my husband feel included in the process, and was the best cheerleader through the pushing stage. She took me through a repositioning circuit to help the baby move and was so positive (and humorous) through it all. We never once felt alone during our labor experience, and it will forever be one of our favorite days. As a nurse myself, I envy the amazing work Molly did and am inspired to be a better nurse because of her. Thank you, Molly, for making our experience one we will look back on positively for the rest of our lives!

Molly was always in such a great mood when she came to work. I never felt like I was bothering her, and she took her time; I never felt like I needed to rush or not ask questions. She always explained everything she was doing as well. I was always confident my baby and I were in good hands when she was my nurse. She also went out of her way to decorate my door for my birthday. I appreciate her positive attitude, her skills as a nurse, her calm demeanor, and her willingness to advocate for me as a patient when needed. I hope everyone gets to have Molly as their nurse for one night of their stay.

Molly was my overnight nurse when went in unexpectedly to deliver my son. This was my first baby, so I wasn’t sure what to expect and was very nervous and anxious. Molly was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She also did a great job of keeping me calm and being there to support me along the way.
Shortly after I delivered my son, I went into critical condition after some medical complications. When the Doctor was giving orders to other nurses in the room, Molly’s focus was on me and making sure I remained calm and doing OK. The next night, she requested to be with me again, which I really appreciated as I was comfortable with her. I was put on magnesium for 24 hours after delivery and Molly made sure that she was able to get me to the NICU so that I could hold my son for the first time.
I can’t say enough great things about Molly. My wonderful labor and delivery experience wouldn’t have been the same without her. Molly truly demonstrated care, compassion, and expertise and always put me the patient first.
