Nick provided phenomenal care to my mother on the final days leading up to her passing. Nick was attentive, caring, professional, and thoughtful. He always made sure my mom stayed warm, comfortable, and as relaxed as she could possibly be. He also constantly made sure our family had enough coffee, water, and snacks while visiting. Nick may not have realized the impact he had on my mother or my family by just offering exceptional nursing care, but he will always be remembered for the errorless and wonderful care he provided to my mother in her last days of life. My mother spent the last week of her life in the ICU. Everyone did a great job taking care of my mother and helping her feel at peace and comfortable. Her final two days, she was in the care of Nick. He treated my mother like he was her own mother or grandmother. On my Mother’s final day on Earth, she mentioned how she loved Nick and that he did everything he could to take care of her and make her feel loved and cared for. My daughter would call my mom “Mimi” and Nick even mentioned his grandmother was “Mimi”. As I witnessed Nick's work, I believed he cared for my mom like she was his “Mimi”. Nick also made sure we had our needs cared for as well. I am so blessed that my mother was in Nick's care. I will never forget Nick. Thank you for taking care of my mom and helping her last days/hours on the Earth some of the best!
