I was admitted to the hospital at 30 weeks pregnant with pre-eclampsia. Deanna has been my nurse twice so far during my stay and was PHENOMENAL. She made sure not only that I was good and that my baby girl growing in me was good, but also constantly checked on my visitors and made sure their needs were met as well. This has been the hardest and most emotional week of my life, and Deanna made sure to comfort me and explain thoroughly every move she was making. She was always on time and rounded the clock checking on my baby and me with a smile on her face. She even took the time to brush out my very matted hair and put it into a braid so that way I felt a little more human. These were just a few of the things that made Deanna an exceptional human and nurse. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves in some way because she is the epitome of what a nurse should be. Southeast Labor and Delivery is very lucky to have her as an employee. Thank you !
