Hello, I just wanted to send a quick note of appreciation for Artika. I had the absolute pleasure of partnering with her tonight on a very difficult family dynamic case, and I could not be more impressed with the kindness and compassion. I was blown away by not only her follow-through but her clear communication, expectation, setting, and follow-up with the family. What really stuck out to me was how she narrated the Care, and specifically what would be occurring over the next couple of days, including a change in physician as well as letting the family know who the nurse leaders would be on shift for the next couple of days. Artika was thoughtful, kind, compassionate, and everything that we define a caring leader to be. Her patience and ability to remain calm was inspiring. I appreciated her support in dealing with the complex issue and just wanted to take a moment to recognize her and let you all know how much I appreciated not only her support, but her ability to help problem solve today.
