My husband was admitted to Depaul in Septemebr 2022. Life happens and while no one wants to stay in the hospital its always nice to know you have someone like Heather to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Heather listened with us as I explained things we couldn't understand and what doctors were saying and advocated for us when we felt we weren't being heard. She made sure my husband's needs and concerns were met. She wasnt afraid to be honest and encouraged my husband to be independent as much as possible while still making sure all his safety needs were met. She needs to be honored for the amazing nurse she is. As a side note, while we waited for some answers she made us laugh and worry less and put up with our crabbiness. She even came in on her day off to see him off as he went home.
