Upon my admission to Abbott Hospital, this wonderful nurse treated me kindly and compassionately and gave me a listening ear when I was struggling with my care. She took time to explain things I didn't understand. Worked tirelessly as a go between myself and the doctors to keep my medication correct. This incredible nurse and person upon my release coordinated between myself and the weekend social worker to help me get into a health and rehab facility so I could get the post hospital care that I needed after my heart attack so I could get to the point I could take care of myself. When an NA staff mistake caused my personal clothes to be put in the hospital laundry, Lisa helped me get a shirt for my discharge. This nurse helped not just my physical recovery but my mental as well. I think this hospital for having an incredible person like her on staff. Thank you.
