I can think of no one more deserving of the award. She is passionate about being cheerful, helpful, kind, and compassionate to all our vets.

Ms. Krebs is dedicated to helping the vets. Compassionate in her care. She goes out of her way to complete their requests when they report to caring rather than sending them somewhere else. She checks us military vets who are concerned about their BP w/o even an apt. If there is an issue, she reports it to our NP and settles issues first. She calls the Pharmacy to get bridges for vets who are running out of meds (rather than sending them to P.C.) She is our flu shot champ. No pain w/ shot! She provides basic health information and gives out handouts. She is very pleasant to work with. #vetshelpingvets

Jennifer is always cheerful, happy, and willing to help patients, family, and co-workers. I am new to the cardiology department. I was seeing a patient during orientation, and she helped me access JLV, anticipated patient needs, and got a BP monitor and scale as I was ordering his heart failure medications. She has the critical thinking skills of a superb registered nurse already! I know she plans to go to school to get her RN degree license, and I look forward to working with her in this capacity. The VA is very lucky to have her!

I can think of no one more deserving of the award. She is passionate about being cheerful, helpful, kind, and compassionate to all our vets. The vets and patients trust and rely on her. Her competence exceeds her pay grade. She will stop to help, no matter the time, and never pushes anyone off. She helps staff with the same kindness and consistency. She has integrity, humility, compassion, and skills. She may be the funniest employee in the LBVA from an overall perspective.

Her love for the patients and her vet peers is trusted every day. We hope she will get her RN, but we will all support her until she returns.

Jen Krebs is the best Daisy candidate I have ever worked with. I’ve been a nurse for 30 years.

Jennifer Krebs is one of the most helpful, sweetest, and patient people to work with. She ensures the veteran's needs are always met, and working with her has always been a pleasure.

Jennifer Krebs has been an amazing person to work with since I came to the non-invasive cardiology department. She welcomed and trained me in the heart failure clinic. Jennifer is the best LVN I have ever met. She has great customer skills and gives her best to her fellow veterans, as she is a veteran herself. Jennifer is compassionate with co-workers and her veterans. I have never heard her complaining about any of her work. We have had several code blues in our department, and I can tell you Jennifer jumped right into code to help her veteran. Way to go, Jennifer Krebs, and yes, she is worthy of this DAISY Award and some.

I have had the honor to work with Jennifer for one and a half years. Every single day, she exemplifies the quality of a DAISY Award nurse. She endlessly and compassionately provides care for our vets. She’s always been above and beyond the call of duty when interacting with the patients and has always been considerate of all the patients’ unique needs. She always assists our heart failure clinic, the ED, and the Pharmacy clinic. Jennifer always finds/makes time to help the vets and her co-workers with other tasks when others are in need.
--
By the way Jennifer interacts with patients and her co-workers, one can easily tell that Jennifer loves her job. No matter how busy or tired she is, she always helps others with a big smile and a “can do” attitude. Patients always feel so at ease with Jennifer. She gets patients to follow providers' instructions without hesitation. Being the recipient of Jennifer's great compassion, positive attitude, and hard work, we often feel so grateful for Jennifer’s selflessness. We always miss and feel her absence when she’s not on the unit.
Jennifer is now furthering her education to become an RN to be a better asset to our department.
Thank you, Jen, for everything you do! You so deserve The DAISY Award!
