Madi sat with a patient in their room for an hour and held his hand while he cried about his plan of care. The patient himself told me multiple times about how awesome she was that night and how he was thankful for her. She has shown amazing compassion and treated this patient very well. She was there for him emotionally, and he needed that. The patient stated how it felt to be isolated (COVID), and how nice it was that Madi sat in there with him, so he wasn't alone. She is an awesome coworker and has shown such empathy and compassion!
