A has been seen by a few of the nurses here but Tammy really stuck out to us as we watched how comfortable she made her & how truly caring she was. She had the most amazing energy that brought all the nerves down for not only A, but the family too. The way she spoke to A made her feel loved, cared for & heard. She made every situation that came up a positive one & contently greeted us with a big smile & a wave & always checking in on us. A is 16 & reached above & beyond to make her feel special & seen as a patient in a hospital. We met Tammy on our last day here but she truly made our experience here amazing & truly someone we looked forward to seeing as the day went on. No matter the question, she made sure A understood everything & assured her that she was not alone, always. Her manner of communication was amazing & made a big impact on her as she walked away saying she was one of the best nurses she has had even though they are all wonderful. She is a beautiful & skilled nurse that truly made our day as she went above & beyond. Although it was sad we only got to have her as the nurse for one day, that stood out to A a lot. We were beyond lucky to have Tammy as our nurse to send us on our way home feeling supported & loved.
