MJ would take time to play with him while we were walking down the hall and give him stickers. She is one of the most loving and genuine people I have met in this medical industry.
We met MJ on our second day here, and she was so nice. When we first met her, she would consistently bring us ice for our cooler for my son's special milk. She would take extra time out of her day after she did vitals, etc. and give a few extra minutes to converse and play with me and my son because he did not have many visitors. She also helped calm the baby after he had been held down and poked by other nurses. She would brighten up his day every time she walked into the room. He would have a huge smile and say hi to her. She would take time to play with him while we were walking down the hall and give him stickers. She is one of the most loving and genuine people I have met in this medical industry. Talking with her was like talking to an aunt. Every time I had a worry about my son's health, she would reassure me everything was okay and tell her bosses my concerns. She literally took time to make me feel at ease for being a first-time mom and the first time my son had a blood transfusion and surgery. The recovery care was so outstanding. On her second day with us, she played in the halls with the baby and was so thoughtful. She knew he loved Jello, so she would bring him two every time and give us an iPad to watch his favorite cartoon. For us, during a hard time, it was really the small things that truly mattered. She not only took his needs into consideration, but she made mine a priority as well. I appreciate the love and care we received from her and this facility.
