When I saw this DAISY Award nomination form for extraordinary nurses, I immediately thought of Hailey. This person is very deserving of praise because of how much she goes out of her way to help. My mother was in rehab for over 2 weeks and I know she can be very “needy” – and she has high anxiety. Hailey was so sweet to my mom, and so helpful all the time. Her professionalism and manners were perfect, and she had a calming effect on my mom. Hailey consistently made my mom smile or laugh, helped make her comfortable, and even changed her when other staff were too busy to get to it right away. She always goes ABOVE & BEYOND! Hailey is so obviously a dedicated nurse who brings more than just competence and professionalism, she also brings a warmth and a caring attitude to the job, and her inner beauty is freely shared with others. We absolutely loved having Hailey as one of our nurses, and we are very fortunate to have met her.
