Alexis was incredible for our 2-year-old. Words can’t describe how she made this overnight stay so much better for my daughter, but for me as well being alone. She sat and talked with me about my daughter’s needs and answered all of my questions, and even about my personal life, which made me feel much less lonely as she talked to me like a friend. She responded to every beep from monitors immediately (even when they’d go off 2 minutes after she had just turned them off). She really took the time to get to know my daughter and give her the patience and kindness she needed as a 2-year-old who was scared by showing her all of the tools and coming in with band-aids and stickers to make her smile. She even took her on a walk through the halls to tire her out for bedtime. Thank you, Lexi, for making our first hospital stay a good experience!
