Mary took amazing care of me whenever I was her patient at the Fort Thomas Infusion Center. Not only did she take the time to get to know me and my family, but she truly cared about me and listened to me whether I expressed a concern about my therapy or whether I was upset about something going on at home. One morning I was very upset and worried about a family member's health, and she listened and helped me to feel more calm. Mary also continued to ask about that family member whenever she saw me from that point on. Mary took extra great care of me by helping me at times with my cold packs, and my favorite thing she would do was wrap me up in warm blankets so I was extra warm - she took the time to put them under me, around my shoulders, and on top of me, and it made my infusions much more cozy. I felt like Mary was an aunt or a cousin from the way she got to know me and took care of me. I appreciated how comfortable I felt in her care (and at this infusion center in general). I had a really wonderful experience, which says a lot when the "experience" is getting chemotherapy. Mary was a huge contributor to this because of her caring and positivity. Thank you, Mary!!
