This nurse was my day nurse, and from the moment she came in, she was all smiles and friendly.  I found out today that I have cervical cancer and I have been beside myself. She took it upon herself to sit and talk with me, calm me down, and explain every step of the process so that I am not waiting in the dark, unsure of when the next bomb is going to drop.  I have had medical issues my entire life causing me to be in hospitals all the time and I would like to say that this nurse is the absolute best nurse I have ever had.  

She has provided me with so much comfort and support and has gone so far above and beyond what any other nurse would have done.  She has a huge heart, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients.  I was so worried about losing my hair, and she took the time to show me wigs I could buy just to keep me thinking positively.  Finding nurses like this is one in a million, and I am so incredibly grateful to have had her.  She is an amazing person and an amazing nurse.  My dad even commented on how great she was when he was leaving, and it takes a lot to impress him.  

I truly hope she understands just how appreciated she is for going above and beyond for me today.  I honestly don't think I would have been able to keep it together so well without her. Any of her future patients would be absolutely lucky to have her.
