From the moment I got to my room Katie was warm, understanding, and connective. She just exudes taking care of others. I was fortunate enough to have her 3 times. She figured out the best pain regimen for me, listened to me, and we shared stories back and forth and had fun conversations when my husband came to visit. It’s like I had known her forever. I was so sad when her last shift was ending, I was very emotional about her leaving. She was so sweet, and we sat and talked, and she showed me pics of her dogs and I did the same. We laughed about how funny dogs are and then she literally tucked me in before she left. As a 44-year-old mama myself, her bedside manner, combined with her amazing knowledge of her profession, is so amazing. I am blessed to have been cared for by her, and anyone who has been in her care will share my sentiments.
