I flew in upon learning my dad was having open heart surgery. To say the least, I was terrified. Being the only child, my parents are invaluable to me. As a family, we had the honor of Claire being by our side. Due to her respectable knowledge, compassion, and care, she became a family member without realizing it. Claire was constant in being upbeat. Claire is a role model to those she works with. My family witnessed her providing her well-versed experience to those who worked with her directly. I viewed this in and out of the room. Claire was an expert at recognizing complications when Dad started running a fever and was horrifically throwing up.  She showed tremendous joy and dignity to our family. Claire is the personification and the excellence of nursing. Sanford is remarkably accurate above the rest because of an employee such as Claire.
