Erin Carwile cared for my trach and vent-dependent son for multiple night shifts during his treatment for pneumonia. I have been my son’s primary caregiver for the past 2 years and have set very high standards for his care. Erin not only met my standards but exceeded them on several nights. I was with my son during the week he was in the ICU most of the time. The exception was when Erin cared for him, and I felt comfortable enough to leave him in her care overnight. Erin regularly sought my opinion on my son’s care during his stay effectively creating a bond with our family and delivering exceptional care, she is a true DAISY Nurse.
