While all of our nurses have been incredible in the NICU, last night Kristina went above and beyond to not only help my husband and me in the care of our newborn but also empower us to still be active parents and caregivers in a time where it was difficult to do so because of medical interventions. Kristina was a wealth of knowledge and comfort for us when we had any questions about caring for our newborn son. She made making difficult decisions so much easier and comforting. I know without a shadow of a doubt that having her as our NICU nurse on that particular night changed who I am as a person and now as a mom. Her care and perspective were invaluable and irreplaceable.
