This leader is by far the BEST manager I have ever worked for in my 28 years of nursing. She comes in early to help the unit. She relieves the staff for lunch to ensure that we ALL get the needed time to step away and recharge. She is ALWAYS available when needed, whether by phone, email, or in person. She makes herself available to her staff 24/7. She encourages us, prays with us, and if we are in a time of need, she checks in on us, even in her own personal time. She makes sure everyone on our team feels heard and appreciated. She openly listens to concerns and ideas to make our unit the well-oiled machine that it is. She also works with our scheduling needs to ensure that each of us is able to have a good work/life balance. There is NO ONE else I'd rather work for.

Sheila Craig has impacted thousands of people’s lives throughout her career. She also impacts her employees on a daily basis. She is one of the kindest and most selfless people I have ever met. She provides a positive working environment and a positive environment to heal patients. She helps the entire department to remember that we are taking care of the people’s family members. She has personally impacted me by helping me re-develop my passion for nursing after the pandemic. That is something that I can never measure more than thank her enough for. Sheila is the kind of nurse who needs to be around in her nursing career forever. She is the reason that I feel like I can continue in my nursing career with a joyful attitude.
