Since we both started our roles at Kaiser Santa Rosa in August 2022, Catherine has consistently proven herself to be an extraordinary member of our team. Initially, I was apprehensive about adapting to my new role and mentoring a newcomer to our facility. However, Catherine quickly emerged as an exceptional talent, shining brightly in her role, especially during the challenging night shifts. Her resilience, independence, and hard work often go unrecognized, yet they are integral to our team's success.

Catherine leads with a remarkable blend of kindness and respect, qualities that resonate with her nursing teams. Under her leadership, her team members have grown and continuously express their admiration and respect for her guidance. Her flexibility and active participation in projects demonstrate her commitment to our collective goals. Remarkably, Catherine commutes from Vacaville daily, a testament to her dedication. She chooses our facility for a reason; she says we are "simply the best." In recent months, Catherine undertook the leadership of our ControlCheck program, a demanding task in addition to her other duties. Her management of this program has been exemplary, showcasing her impeccable attention to detail and ability to handle complex responsibilities with ease. Her efforts have significantly eased my workload, and her positive impact is felt throughout our department. I cannot say loud enough how big of a help this has been and how key it is to our Team's success.
