Megan is an amazing and compassionate person. She truly cares for her patients! She has taken amazing care of me since I’ve been here, and her shifts have started. She’s always making sure I have everything I need and anything I could want. She really does go above and beyond! She is a friendly face, a shoulder to cry on and most importantly you can just tell all she wants to do is get you feeling better as fast as humanly possible. You can tell the difference with her, she doesn’t want you to get better just so she has less to do, NO, she just wants to see you do better and be better.

I personally have a lot of anxiety and PTSD around hospitals, but I can honestly say that she has been one of many to make my stay here as comfortable as she can. She’s very helpful as well. I was having a hard time while I was here with some family stuff and it’s like she just knew I was upset, so she took the 2 minutes she had to sit with me and talk with me until I felt better. It’s so important for patients to have a friendly face when they are separated from their family and her face, and Megan’s face has been the most kind, caring, compassionate, and hardworking I’ve ever seen! So, it is my honor to nominate Megan for the DAISY Award, she genuinely deserves it. Thank you so much, Megan!
