Tara has been extremely helpful as a leader of our class. She lives, eats, and breathes nursing. Tara always shows compassion and is a kind soul with whomever she comes in contact with. She is so proud to show her passion and empathy when it comes to caring for others.

From the very first day, Tara has shown clinical excellence and expertise in all roles of this AAS degree. With over 20 years experience as an LPN, both inpatient and ambulatory, Tara has taken many under her wing and shown them how to be comfortable in their role and helped them to establish confidence in the care that they are providing. Additionally, she is heavily involved with the RCSD School 17 and often volunteers at their school events.

Tara always shows respect and a kind heart to all patients and their families. She treats them as one of her own. From compassion and empathy to a warm smile or even a hug she makes every patient feel like they are her only patient.

Tara has been instrumental in assisting classmates throughout the course load. From study guides to making binders for them and keeping everyone on task. She has become the mother hen to many and has lived by the motto that "no one gets left behind." It was so important that her entire class made it to the finish line.

Tara is a proud and Extraordinary Nurse. From the beginning, she has gone above and beyond in every aspect of her academic year. She is a two-time scholarship winner and really takes pride in her role as an RN student as well as an LPN. She takes pride in her work role and really maintains an outstanding reputation. Respect and professionalism are always shown. She truly deserves this award.
