Tom was very attentive to my Mom from the minute he arrived on shift. He listened to my and my mom’s concerns. He listened to my requests to contact the doctor assigned to my mom so we could talk about her plan of care for planned procedures and to get orders or tests expedited. He asked the doctor to come and speak to us about a change in plan and explained the reasons why the plan was changed. Tom is patient, kind, and detail-oriented in the care he gave my Mom. I truly appreciate his calm, helpful, and kind demeanor with me and my Mom.

Tom is truly a DAISY Nurse for being one of the kindest and most competent RNs I have had taking care of my family members. Thanks for your follow-up with the doctor and people in nuclear medicine, as my mom was in the procedure longer than expected, and for communicating with the family!! My whole family was having a stressful time with our Dad being sick at home with Stage 4 Cancer and my Mom being in the ED for 10-11 hours and then being admitted. Both need care from family members.
