Alicia Beckley is an outstanding resource for our community. She provides sexual assault examinations for both children and adults. Her expertise, integrity, and compassion have made her an invaluable multidisciplinary team member of the Lincoln County Child Advocacy Center. The service she provides by conducting sexual assault exams is critical to investigations performed by law enforcement and social services. Patients of all ages rely on her to provide support and guidance to cope with the devastation of a sexual assault.

In addition to her routine ED nursing roles, she also mentors and encourages other RNs to become SANE nurses. There is an enormous statewide shortage of SANE nurses, but due to Alicia’s commitment to service, our community can receive this important care closer to home, and this helps to decrease the trauma of experiencing a sexual assault. Atrium Health Lincoln and Lincoln County are lucky to have this incredible nurse.
