Danielle goes above and beyond for our patients. For example, she started a food collection for a patient who was going to be discharged to an area where they wouldn't have access to a food box until the following Monday to ensure the patient would have plenty to eat for that weekend.

Danielle started a clothing/belonging collection for a patient who had been with us for a very long time, awaiting placement. When they were accepted to a facility, they needed bedding, personal care supplies, and clothing. They had nothing. Danielle managed to find shoes, a coat, and everything in between.

Danielle had a patient with no driver's license or ID, and the patient was not a good historian, with no family. Danielle spent countless hours on the phone with various states trying to locate a birth certificate and marriage certificate to provide this single, homeless person an ID to pursue obtaining resources to live. It took Danielle weeks and trips to the DOT office to accomplish this, and she did. Many, many patients are blessed with her generosity and authenticity. We, as nurses, are blessed to have her contributing to the high standard of care that everyone deserves.
