When I was having an issue with a patient’s cane, she helped me.

Diane goes above and beyond her call and helps anyone who needs it.  She takes patients’ health very seriously.  She helps anyone on the floor: patients, family members, and staff.

Diane makes every day a great one.  She’s always sure to ask if I need any help, or she will jump right in to help if she can tell I’m struggling.  Not only does she help me provide excellent patient care, but she also is the type of person who would tell you to take a break when you’re feeling overwhelmed, give you a hug if you need it, and let you talk as long as you need.  Diane is simply an amazing person, and I would trust her as a nurse for the most important people in my life.

She made sure that she took care of my husband and me.  She made a stressful situation into a calm one!  She always asked if there was more she could do.  She would call me at night to fill me in on my husband.  We felt like family when she was around.  There should be more people like her.  She always went that one step above everything else. She deserves this award! Between Diane and the doctor, my husband was able to “keep his leg!!”
