My nurse Jan has gone above and beyond. I have been so sick I ended up in the hospital unexpectedly. I ended up extra sick last night. She did everything in her power to try and help me be comfortable as much as she could with the situation. She got me extra pillows, blankets, got me a C2DX machine to try and calm my tummy aches. She was on top of it making sure I had everything I needed. It was late at night but she really helped comfort me when I was in such pain. She 100% understood my situation. She also got me some much needed medications that she had to get an order for. Jan helped me get into the shower and put on my slip resistant socks to keep me from falling. I was in terrible pain and I came out to a nicely made bed. She really went above and beyond for me. This has made my stay here extra special. Once again she is my nurse tonight and still so much care. She is happy right along with me. She really helped me feel better. Jan is very detailed and saw that I forgot to plug in my machine (I am independent otherwise) after bathroom break and plugged it in for me. She is amazing!! A caring nurse with a big heart. I feel more like a family member rather than a patient. Jan even got me another extra pillow to try to help me fall asleep without the IV machine going off and made sure I was comfortable. Thank you!
