I’m writing this for my husband since he has a lot of memory loss. We can not rule out one nurse. Every nurse that came into my husband’s room made us feel like family. We have never been in a hospital like the Oconee Hospital. From the time we walked into the hospital to the time we left, everyone was so friendly. The nurses on the floor were doing everything they could possibly do to make us comfortable. My husband had a reaction to a pain medicine, and no one knew this would happen. About three nurses stayed with us for about 1 hour until he was better. He didn’t remember what had happened the night before. There was a real concern for my husband. When we needed a nurse there was no second call, they were there immediately. I wish we could nominate one nurse, but how can we when all the nurses should be nominated as far as we are concerned? When my husband had that reaction, I asked them to call security, and the young man and lady were just as concerned and compassionate toward us. In our opinion, this hospital is the best in South Carolina. God Bless
