I fell while on a cruise in Italy and had to have emergency surgery. I laid in a bed for 12 days before getting back to the United States. Jerrica Jackson was there as soon as I got admitted to Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She was so sweet and attentive to all my needs. When I was finally ready for discharge to rehab, the doctors said I just needed to have a bowel movement. We tried everything and Jerrica was always cheerful and never seemed to be bothered to help me, including the enema. 

When even the enema didn’t work, she suggested prune juice. She searched all over the hospital, but they were out of prune juice. After she got off, she went to Target and bought me prune juice. She brought it back with a little note saying, “I hope this helps! Good Luck!”. Jerrica is the definition of an Extraordinary Nurse and deserves all the awards.
