I wanted to nominate Britt because she is the most selfless person I've ever met. She goes above and beyond for her teams. Due to circumstances, she's been managing ICU, PCU, and BURN by herself, all with a smile on her face. She even picked up Christmas weekend to help her team. I say "team" because that's what we are with her as our leader. She promotes teamwork, positivity, and accountability and we're all better for it. She deserves to be recognized and celebrated. No one cares more than Britt.

I can't think of a more deserving nurse to nominate for the DAISY Award. Brittany trained me as a brand new nurse in the ICU. I've since worked with her as my charge nurse, supervisor, and now manager. No matter what role, I've never stopped learning from her. I'm constantly in awe of her dedication to this hospital and her team. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does and rarely complains, even when things get rough. She is selfless, passionate, and the kindest person I know. She goes above and beyond in her role as a manager, and I think every member of the 3rd floor would agree she deserves this award.
