My mother was recently admitted to St. Peter for management of her AFIB & SVT. The care she received was fantastic in many ways. The person who stood out the most was her nurse, Ryan. He was extremely compassionate to my mother, and even when she was having a scary arrhythmia, he took the time to show her compassion and kindness and explained what was happening. He was very comforting not only to my mom, but to me as well. He took the time out of his very busy shift to call me and give me updates regarding my mom's condition. He made the calls without prompting or my asking him to do so. When my mom hit the call light and needed something, Ryan was there right away without hesitation and with a smile on his face. Ryan involved me in my mom's care, and I can't thank him enough. The care he took of my mother was impeccable and super. He took care of her with gentleness and respect. I truly could not have asked for anything better. Collectively, St. Peters saved my mother's life, but it was the detailed care that Ryan gave that truly made the difference.
