I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication that Dana Smugala and her peer have shown towards their team’s success. They have truly gone above and beyond in their roles, showing amazing leadership and guiding us through an incredibly challenging time.

We recently had an application change that significantly altered workflows and affected the daily activities of thousands of employees at all facilities in the East Region. Dana and her peer dove headfirst into these new challenges, putting in countless hours to prepare their team for the change and lead them through the transition. They worked day and night to ensure that their team and the employees at each facility could have as smooth a transition as possible. Their willingness to roll up their sleeves and lead by example has earned the respect and admiration of the entire team. Their continued dedication to the effort as new challenges arise is inspiring. Under their leadership, we have overcome hurdles that would have been impossible without them.

I am lucky enough to have been a part of this team and have witnessed their ability to inspire and motivate us. The clear communication that they provide, along with the genuine empathy that they show for their team and the employees of the region, has created an environment where each team member feels valued and heard.
