As a family member who was scared and unsure about many things, it was her compassion that mattered most, all the way until she helped my dad to get into the car outside of the hospital.
My dad was in the cardiac unit for eight days. Jacquie Estwick-Davis was my dad's nurse for several of the days.

From the moment we walked into the room to get my dad admitted, she treated him as though he were her own family. Jacquie treated my dad as though he were her dad. It was obvious that she cared immensely. There wasn't a minute that Jacquie wasn't present, attentive, caring, empathetic, as well as informative and professional, not just towards my dad but towards my brother, nephew, and me.

My dad went through many tests, which was frustrating and uncomfortable for him, but Jacquie consistently made him feel comfortable and talked him through his concerns. It is clear that Jacquie is the cream of the crop with her abilities as a nurse, but as a family member who was scared and unsure about many things, it was her compassion that mattered most, all the way until she helped my dad to get into the car outside of the hospital. Final words exchanged at the car after a big hug were, "Watch your dad, take care of him."

Thank you for taking care of my dad.
