Roberta "Bobbi" serves the CLCB Veterans and her peers in many different ways. She provides day to day care that honors our dementia Residents. She spends quality time with the Veterans by taking them outside, helping them plant flowers and vegetables, helping them harvest the fresh tomatoes for an afternoon tomato sandwich, taking them to the soda machine so they can purchase their own soda from the machine, and escorting them to the canteen. She understands that these simple actions mean so much to our residents. Bobbi also serves as our Unit Base Counsel Chair. She uses this role to help the unit plan meaningful activities for veterans and families and to improve the processes of CLCB. In her role as UBC Chair, she leads the counsel by providing education on what it means to be an HRO organization and the principles of Relationship Based Care. She is always enthusiastic and professional. Her efforts have added quality to the lives of our dementia residents and contributed to the professional and personal growth of her peers.
