When Staci started in the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, she really hit the ground running. The BHU had a new leadership team, and she was coming in from a completely different setting. She has gone above and beyond to make staff feel comfortable and nurtured. She is the driver for many of the unit's events around the holiday season. Anything that a staff member asks, she will immediately be that go-to person who helps them succeed. One of the most important things she has done this year is to develop a vision board in the Behavioral Health Unit. It is meant to engage staff, and she is asking that staff send their personal and professional goals for the year to be posted on the Vision Board so that we can all work together to help each other complete our goals for the year. To me, that is the epitome of a leader. Leadership is so much more than just guiding processes, it is about staff engagement, and ensuring that the staff know you care for them as a person as well as an employee. Staci lives that value and will continue to do well in her career.
