I can’t say enough good about Joyce. My son was in the PICU for many days. What makes her exceptional includes the regular care. She was consistently there for my boy. When the alarms went off, she was consistently responsive, which made a huge difference when they were beeping every 5-10 minutes. Above and beyond her natural capabilities, she is kind. Every interaction was so pleasant. Her kindness shows in her face, and her care is reflected in her eyes. She was the first nurse to catch changes in my son’s condition. She consistently called attention to him; she didn’t give up. Kind, consistency is Joyce’s Modus Operandi.
