On Saturday, in the early morning hour the Emergency Department was presented with multiple female college students who had been attending various Halloween parties. One presented in a near unconscious state prompting a Code Down and Triage RN Jacob Bowen sprang into immediate action. The RN even took the time to calm down the patient’s panic stricken friends who had accompanied her. As the patient was being treated in the back, a HAP-1 Patient who also presents as sexually inappropriate towards women took an interest in the two female college students who had fallen asleep in the waiting room while waiting on their friend receiving treatment. Triage RN Jacob was able to decelerate the imminent Code Gray and assist with keeping the unsuspecting college students safe. Between Security and Triage RN Jacob the situation was decelerated to the point where it became a nonstarter and the HAP -1 patient was escorted off of property without incident.
