My husband and I were visiting my daughter over the holiday, and while we were there, my husband fell. He is 76 and has Alzheimer’s and was taken by ambulance to Morgan Medical Center ER. When we were taken to a room, we were greeted by Ashleigh Loyd, who said she would be his nurse while we were there. I cannot say enough positive things about Ashleigh. She was kind, patient and so concerned about my husband’s well-being. While there, my husband was given a medication that, unbeknownst to us, caused him to have an allergic reaction. Ashleigh reacted quickly and helped my husband get through a short, difficult period. She could see my husband as well as I became very scared by the reaction and helped us and especially my husband, to get through this. She told him to hold her hand, and she talked him through it. She was so loving, caring, and compassionate, as if it was someone in her own family. I want to say thank you once again to our nurse, Ashleigh Loyd. She made all the difference to our family especially not being from Georgia. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
