Our daughter, who has disabilities and a seizure disorder, had a seizure and a serious injury. She was a "bear" and completely uncooperative when she was in emergency and for the CT scan, and we were worried when we knew she would be admitted for a to-be-determined time. When her nurse, Cassidy, walked in, we gave her tips and cues to use with J. Her cheerfulness and kindness were perfect for our daughter. J was receptive and cooperative with her. Their relationship with each other on two night shifts made us so grateful and was so encouraging that a lot of our tension and concern were released. Other staff did well, but Cassidy was the star! We were very concerned about possible behavioral issues and about the importance of her medication regimen. Cassidy was very knowledgeable, capable, and thorough in her work. The exchange of information between us reassured us that J's care would be great. We had complete confidence in her. We wish she could be cloned.
