This nurse deserves all the recognition she can get! I admire her in so many ways. She is a full time nurse here with us, she is also goes to school full time as well as is a mom. Along with all that, she finds time to go to the gym and get her workouts in! That is a lot of dedication! Tatiana has many stories about patients that make an impact. There was one patient that she and one of the doctors here were going back and forth fighting for a patient wheelchair. This said wheelchair is a medical necessity for the patient as she has one of her legs amputated and uses the wheelchair to get around. This said nurse called the DME company almost, if not every, day to make sure that this patient would get her wheelchair. She kept going and did not give up. There was one point where she said she would even use her own money to purchase the wheelchair for the patient. After weeks of hard work, phone calls, stress, and fighting, the patient finally got her wheelchair. If it hadn't been for Tatiana's consistent effort to fight for the patient, it could have taken much longer or even led to the patient not receiving her wheelchair. She shows passion and dedication through her work and always strives for the best in all her patients. She truly cares and truly wants the best for all her patients. She is always thorough and precise in all the work she does. Day in and day out, she shows she cares, which is why she is a DAISY Nurse.
