She was absolutely compassionate from the moment she greeted my 5-year-old daughter in the waiting room. She cared for my daughter with the utmost respect and concern for her health, she was playful and sweet which really relaxed my daughter when she tensed up and was nervous. When she was scared to show her body to someone who wasn’t Mommy, she made her feel safe instead of just forcefully gathering the information she needed. She took the extra time to explain how safe she was with her and how safe she would be with her doctor friend, and that was the extra mile, not all nurses go. She talked to her about school and family and was able to squeeze in some tests in between, which were swabs. Even though they were uncomfortable tests, she was able to obtain what she needed quickly and effectively. The style of professionalism and family vibe she radiates is amazing, and hospitals could use more like her!!
