Jane was absolutely amazing during our 6 day stay while my son had RSV. She was the nurse on duty when we arrived to the floor. That was a very scary day for us and she welcomed us to the floor and answered all our million questions. She made us feel comfortable and got us settled. She was on our nursing staff for the next two days and she continued to support us and provide reassurance of my son’s care. She helped explain all the support he was getting. She was also with students while we were there. She was an excellent teacher by providing the opportunity to learn vitals, patient comfort, and deal with worried and tired parents. It was very evident the students were learning a lot. Some would feel uneasy having students around, but with Jane guiding them, I never had any doubts. Jane came back on the schedule the day we were discharged as well, which was amazing. She walked us through the discharge procedure and made sure we were comfortable going home. She not only provided excellent care to my son, but she also provided excellent care and support for two scared parents experiencing a first hospital visit with our child. I will forever be grateful for her sparkling personality, positivity, and steadfast care!
