Abby was a great comfort to me and my wife. She was constantly in and out of my room all hours of the day, including staying late at night and informing us what was needed to get me through the TURP process. This was a new procedure for me, and I had many concerns. She was able to provide me with the information I needed. She was always calm, had a great smile, and was five months pregnant with her second child. She was full of energy and kept moving without taking a break. She was truly an example of how a nurse should be with a patient and was always professional. Before leaving the hospital, Abby sat down with me and my wife and explained in detail what needed to be done post-surgery. She stayed past her shift until all our questions and concerns were answered in detail. She is a shining star and a wonderful example of those working in her profession and how a nurse goes beyond her daily duties to provide a super experience for the patient and family. We need more of these nurses in our hospitals and clinics. Alta View can be proud of her and their nursing staff.
