Even though Eileen was not her nurse again, she continuously checked in with our family and offered support and love throughout our mother’s final days.
Our 91 year-old mother was admitted to Pavilion C on Friday, November 3rd. She came in with a variety of diagnoses after not receiving the best of care in her nursing home.
From the moment my mother was admitted to the floor she was treated with nothing but dignity, love, and care. Eileen Kociszewski was her first nurse and we will always remember the quality of care she provided our mother as well as our family.
Eileen listened to our concerns, looked at our mother’s whole self, and began the treatment to help our mom on her next step in her treatment plan. Eileen was extremely kind and thoughtful and helped our mother and our family understand each step of the treatment and the different paths that may occur.
Even though Eileen was not her nurse again, she continuously checked in with our family and offered support and love throughout our mother’s final days. Eileen will hold a special place in our hearts as she made us and our mother feel comfortable and safe being at Midstate during the last week of her life.
